Company
The people behind Parable
Parable is built by people who have founded companies, sold them, funded them and run them. Between us we have scaled organizations across marketplaces, real estate, healthcare, consumer goods and developer infrastructure, and watched the same thing happen in every one: what a company achieves comes down to whether its people are pointed in the same direction, and how much of their time survives the coordination in between.

Founders

Adam Schwartz
Co-founder and CEO
Adam co-founded TeePublic and ran it as CEO through its acquisition by Redbubble, building a nine-figure marketplace that was profitable in its first year and never raised outside capital. Before that he was COO of BustedTees. He has served on the boards of Bombas, Attentive and F. Schumacher & Co, and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30. Running a business with no venture safety net is where the question behind Parable started: where is the time actually going, and what is it buying?

Clinton Robinson
Co-founder and CTO
Clinton is a three-time founder. As co-founder and CEO of Lane he built the first no-code platform for the workplace and took it to a $200M exit in three years, then led it inside VTS. Earlier he built one of the first web-based electronic medical record systems, bought by Ontario's Ministry of Health and made a cornerstone of the province's e-health programme. He holds an MSc in computing from Queen's University, where his research applied AI to protein folding.

Alex Terrien
Co-founder and COO
Alex spent six years as co-founder and general partner at Future Positive Capital, which meant years spent looking hard at how organizations actually operate before writing a cheque. Before that he ran General Assembly in France, growing it into one of the company's fastest-growing regions with clients including GE, AXA, LVMH, Danone, Novartis and Swiss Re. He writes about leadership, intention and attention, which is the subject Parable measures.

Steve Tam
Co-founder and CMO
Steve led marketing at Snips, the AI assistant company acquired by Sonos, where he opened the New York office and built the marketing and growth teams. He co-founded Simcoe Bicycles, acquired by North America's largest bicycle distributor, and the brand studio 100 Acre Wood. Marketing Magazine named him to its 30 Under 30.
Leadership

Tyler Mills
Director of Product
Tyler comes from Datadog, where he led product for the platform's query and schema experience across logs, metrics, APM, security and LLM observability, and before that for Husky, the database behind Datadog's event storage. He has led product at Optimizely, SmartBear and OnRamp. Making an unreasonable volume of machine data answerable is the problem Parable has, pointed at people rather than servers.
